Rental accommodation is very expensive in the most popular university cities and only the wealthiest students can afford luxury student rentals.

For those that do have the budget, there are some seriously luxurious student rentals being advertised in London.

Luxury Mayfair Student Apartments

These student pads cost £1300 per person per week in rental and include a daily housekeeping service and for some apartments, a porter service. If they sound appealing, you can find them in Mayfair, an area renowned for its luxury homes and designer boutiques. No doubt this will come in handy for students who want to do a spot of shopping in New Bond Street.

Private En-suite and Large Terrace

The properties, which are being marketed online, come with two bedrooms, a modern kitchen and private terrace. Each bedroom has a spacious private marble bathroom. All mod-cons are available, including underfloor heating and a high-tech control panel to adjust the lighting, heating, and sound system.

Luckily for cash-strapped students studying in the capital, most student accommodation is a lot cheaper than this, although probably not half as nice!
