New Feature Released! Payments to non bank accounts

On Monday 23rd July 2018 we released a new feature allowing payments to be made from non bank accounts as well as bank accounts.  How does this help?  Well here’s a couple of scenarios…

Business Expenses Paid from Personal Bank Accounts

Bought something for your business?  Used the wrong card?  No need to worry. Now you can record the payment as having been made by the Owner’s Account rather than the bank account.  The expense will appear correctly in your reports without having to reconcile it or add a journal entry.  Our User Echo page has more information on business expenses paid from personal bank accounts.

Tenant Pays an Expense on your Behalf

If one of your tenants pays for an expense and then this amount is deducted from the rent, there’s now a much quicker way of recording this without having to enter two credit notes. Our User Echo page has more information about how our new feature handles tenants paying expenses on behalf of the landlord.

Don’t forget to let us know what other features you’d like to see!
